Moonspell em Alcobaça com a Orquestra Sinfonietta de Lisboa a 5 de dezembro

On December 5, the band will take the stage at Panorama in Alcobaça, at the invitation of the prestigious Cistermúsica, as part of its Fronteiras season, to present Opus Diabolicum.

Following the success of their orchestral concerts in Lisbon (MEO Arena, 2024) and Mexico City (Pepsi Center, 2026), Moonspell return to Portugal for an exclusive performance in Alcobaça.

The show will bring together 50 musicians on stage. Moonspell’s regular line-up will be joined by the Orquestra Sinfonietta de Lisboa, conducted by Vasco Pearce de Azevedo, with orchestral arrangements by pianist and composer Filipe Melo.

Alcobaça will therefore host only the third-ever performance of this magnificent production, bringing together the power of heavy metal and the grandeur of a symphony orchestra. Immortalised on a live album and DVD and acclaimed by critics and audiences alike, Opus Diabolicum reveals a new dimension of Portugal’s most internationally renowned metal band.
