MOONFEST

35 YEARS OF MOONSPELL

AMORPHIS · ZEAL & ARDOR
TOWARDS THE SINISTER · HEAVENWOOD

MEO ARENA | 30 OCTOBER 2027

6 November, 10 a.m. — Exclusive FNAC presale

The announcement of the 40-date European tour, “God Is a Vampire,” in March and April 2027 suggested that MOONSPELL were preparing something special to celebrate 35 years as a band. The news broke this weekend in Porto, where they presented their latest album, “Far From God,” with two sold-out nights at Hard Club—following another sold-out show in Sintra in September.

Portugal’s most internationally acclaimed band is going further than ever with the launch of the first edition of MOONFEST, a new festival celebrating not only this major milestone for the band, but also the spirit of Heavy Metal in all its diversity and enduring power.

With a line-up personally curated and selected by the band, bringing together tradition and modernity, MOONSPELL welcome AMORPHIS, one of the biggest and most influential names in Finnish metal; Swiss band ZEAL & ARDOR, one of the most innovative projects in contemporary metal, blending blues and gospel with Scandinavian black metal; British band TOWARDS THE SINISTER, formed by the founding members of My Dying Bride; and, opening the night, Portuguese band HEAVENWOOD, who returned to recording in 2026, the year they mark 30 years of history.

The grand finale of MOONFEST will come to life with MOONSPELL and more than three decades of Gothic Metal, bearing a distinctly Portuguese signature, in the band’s biggest production to date!

Following a European tour set to be epic, the band will launch the first edition of their own festival, focusing both on the quality and originality of the artists on the bill and on fair ticket prices and audience comfort. The night of 30 October 2027 at MEO ARENA promises to be memorable—just like the remarkable and fascinating story of Portugal’s MOONSPELL.
