Moonspell sell out Sintra on September 12 and announce new Porto show for November 1

“After recording Far From God in Porto, the magnetic pull of this beautiful and unique city continues to draw us back, and we are thrilled to announce a second show at the Hard Club, on November 1st!

While at Invicta Halloween we will perform Far From God in its entirety — complete with its new stage and lighting production — as well as revisiting 30 years of Irreligious, on November 1st we will journey through other chapters, songs and memories from MOONSPELL’s discography, marking our return to the stages of Porto in grand style.

As on the previous night, the show will be opened by Porto’s own NU:N, with their electronically infused Gothic Rock.

The announcement of a second Porto date comes in the midst of MOONSPELL’s European tour, which has already taken the band to Belgium, Finland, Poland and Germany, with shows in Turkey and the UK still to come. On August 20, the band will also make their debut at Portugal’s biggest Gothic festival, Extramuralhas.

At the end of the summer, MOONSPELL will cross the Atlantic as special guests of Cradle of Filth on the British band’s North American tour, taking in the US and Canada between September 29 and October 28, for a total of 23 shows.

These latest developments — including the sold-out Far From God launch show in Sintra — reflect the overwhelmingly positive response from both fans and critics to the band’s 14th studio album: a boldly beautiful and tragic statement of Gothic Metal in its purest form — dark, romantic, dramatic and unapologetically heavy.
