Moonspell<\/strong> are currently finishing their new album, scheduled for release in July 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is the long-awaited follow-up to Hermitage<\/strong> (which reached #1 in sales in Portugal<\/strong> upon release). The band has not released a studio album since 2021, and this new work will end that hiatus \u2014 an album they describe as \u201cthe most important record of their lives.\u201d They promise the unique form of gothic metal that only they can create \u2014 a release that will move and captivate the hearts and souls of their vast Portuguese \u201cpack,\u201d who have supported them for over 30 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the moment, they are in the studio while also promoting their live album\/DVD Opus Diabolicum \u2014 The Orchestral Live Show, recorded in front of 8,000 people at MEO ARENA<\/strong>, together with the Orquestra Sinfonietta de Lisboa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first pressing of both the DVD and the LP sold out<\/strong> within the first week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
