Sean Riley’s first solo album was released in April and has since then been featured throughout the country. And the arrival of autumn did not slow it down. This week he goes to Paris, where he’ll perform at the Phono Museum / MaMa Festival and on the 23rd in Lisbon at the Jameson Urban Routes.
Challenged by Paulo Furtado (The Legendary Tigerman), Afonso Rodrigues went to the United States where, together, they traveled through California and recorded, in motel rooms, the first solo album by Sean Riley.
A raw recording with no artifacts – in California, if you pay attention, you can hear the sounds of each place they passed: Los Angeles, Carmel By The Sea, San Francisco and Joshua Tree (Rancho de la Luna).
