Mirror People is a Portuguese new wave-disco musical project fronted by the multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, DJ & producer Rui Maia. After the sucess of "Voyager" and a string of solid releases on labels such as Discotexas, Permanent Vacation, Gomma and Exploited, Mirror People’s second album entitled “Bring The Light”, released in 2017. Rui Maia invited vocalist Jonny Abbey to record for his successor.
Rui combines electronic production skills with his ability to play synthesizers, bass, guitar and other instruments which make his tracks a mix between 70’s disco, new wave & today’s indie-dance flavor.
