Miguel Angelo feat Surma: Aquista

AQUISTA  Miguel Angelo feat Surma

AQUISTA results from the direct collaboration between Miguel Angelo and Surma, in terms of composition and production. What to expect? The fusion of the outside world of a 35-year-old career crooner and the inner world of one of the most talented artists in the new national alternative song?

The starting point was a short book by Herman Hesse, which the author stole the title and environment from that he needed to get inspired.

The sound experience in Aquista transports us to a hermetic dimension – both beautiful and delicate – in a haunting derived from Hesse’s stay in the Baths of Baden, Switzerland, in 1923.

The video that translates into images this haunting is by the skilled director Joana Linda and was recorded at the stunning Rainha D. Leonor Thermal Hospital in Caldas da Rainha.

The cover is by multifaceted artist Edgar Keats.

Aquista is part of NOVA (pop), the album Miguel Angelo will release on November 15th and where he collaborates with new names of Portuguese music, including Filipe Sambado, Chinaskee, D’Alva and Surma.

The first single, NOVA, was presented a month ago and results from the direct action of Filipe Sambado and Chinaskee on Miguel Angelo‘s demo, who with total freedom and autonomy participate in it and sign their production.

Miguel Angelo will present NOVA (pop) on November 18th at Casino Lisboa Arena Live, at 10 pm, free admission from 14 years old, and will be attended by all the guests of this album.
