“AMOR MISSÃO” feat SIR SCRATCH
IT’S THE NEW SINGLE FROM D’ALVA

In the past year and in an unprecedented action in Portugal, D’Alva proposed to compose, produce and record a single under the Internet’s watchful and critical eye and through Livestream, with real time interaction between the band and their fans, public suggestions, invited guests who have spoken or collaborated (one of them being rapper Sir Scratch).

The process, with Tradiio’s support, was aimed at narrowing the distance between who creates a song and who receives it, even mirroring the community nature of LiveStream.

The result of all this is a song with a twist of 90’s Pop, with Soul references, and the Golliraz of Damin Albarn (particularly in Sir Scratch’s rhymes) in a “seriously fun” record.

When it came time to translate the music to video, it made sense to follow the human side that permeated the project, something that added instead of spreading, something that could put at the center of the history the people behind the words, ideas, social profiles, in all its diversity, in particular the people with whom the band cultivated some kind of affinity, and who promptly responded to the challenge of holding the words that so often serve as a weapon of confrontation, division and segregation, and which are expected here to comfort, unite and celebrate what unites us regardless of gender, ethnicity, confession of faith, sexual orientation, age, social status, occupation, or class: Love. Let this be the mission.
